Meeting at the airport <MAKEDONIA>, meeting with our escort, who has made this trip many times and knows the places, the local traditions and the mentality of the inhabitants. Check-in and direct flight to the most industrialized city of the country, Basel. Basel is located at the point known as the Triangle, right on the border with France and Germany. Its point of reference is the Rhine River, which originates in the southeastern Swiss Alps and continues its journey north to the Netherlands, where it flows into the North Sea after a 1320 km course. Among the most important sights are the red Markplatz town hall with its allegorical figures, and the cathedral which reaches a height of 67 metres marking the religious centre of the city. We then follow the cobbled street which leads us to the balcony of the Rhine, where we will enjoy the view. Finally, we depart for Switzerland's largest city, Zurich, located in the north of Switzerland, where the Limmat River divides the city in half. It is the financial capital of Switzerland and the economic headquarters of many international companies. Arrival and transfer to our hotel. In the evening we recommend you to visit the Niederdorf area, where the evening is bustling with life.

We return to Zurich and start our tour of Switzerland's largest city, Zurich, located in the north of Switzerland, where the Limmat River dominates. It is the economic capital of Switzerland, where we will have time to tour its most important attractions. First stop on our walk will be the Fraumeinster Cathedral, which was built in the 13th century. Its interior decoration is a tribute to Marc Chagall, thanks to his elaborate stained glass windows. Our next point of interest is St Peter's Church. Next, we will admire the Town Hall, which is adorned on its façade by elaborate friezes and the marble gate with its gilded decoration. We will continue our walk and see the neo-Baroque opera house on the lake shore, completed in 1891 by the Viennese architects Hermann Helmer and Ferdinand Fellner. Breakfast and departure for the jewel of Switzerland, with its unique architecture, Bern. Arrival and start the tour, where we will see the river Aar surrounding the city, the city's trademark - the Zytglogge Tower, where we will be impressed by its impressive height and its unique arched gate. This tower also houses the city's famous astronomical clock, which was built in the 15th century and includes moving figures at the change of time. We will cross the historic medieval old town, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983, and the Kramgasse, the city's most central street, essentially the continuation of the Marktgasse, which is traditionally the commercial centre of Bern. This picturesque cobbled street, full of people, with its impressive buildings and arcades of shops gave us the feeling and atmosphere of a medieval city. Time free and we join together for Interlagen, in the "heart" of the country. Interlaken owes its name to the Augustinian monastery founded in the area in the 12th century and named Interlaken, i.e. between the lakes Brient and Tun.
